Tired of the crappy iPhone and iPad email signatures?

Tired of the crappy iPhone and iPad email signatures?

It’s one of the most basic things that Apple could have forgotten on the iPhone and iPad. Sometimes the things that they forget are so obvious that I wonder if it wasn’t done on purpose. Why, we would never know. There are quite a few apps that allow you to create funky email signatures and there are even some online tools that you can use. The problem that I have is that in the first place the only apps worth using are expensive. The online tools collect all your information in order to construct your email signature. What do they do with all this information? Your email address. name, company name, etc? Spam you to death of course! Why the hell else would they do it for free? (It’s not free. Before you know it you will be the proud owner 5kg’s of Viagra).

There is a very simple solution to this problem and I am going to show you how to do it without buying a crappy app, or giving away all your personal information to some Chinese spammer.

Step 1: Create your email signature on your PC or laptop.

If you already have one then that will work just fine. Here is an example.

Create your email signature on your PC

Step 2: Send an blank email to your iPhone or iPad

Send a blank email with only your signature to the email you have on your iPhone or iPad. Send it without a subject.

Step 3: Go to “Settings” on your iPhone or iPad

Click on “Mail, Contacts, Calendars

Change “Increase Quote Level” to “Off”

Increase Quote Level must be OFF

Step 4: Go to your Inbox

The email that you sent yourself should be waiting in your inbox.

Click on “Forward” to forward the email.

Select “Include” on the next dialogue. (This includes the original graphics in your signature).

The email should now include your signature and some Header information at the top.

Forward the email

Delete the “Header” information at the top of the email. Just backspace. It’s quick.

Change the “Subject”

Compose your email and press “Send”.

Voila! You can send emails with your HTML signature from your iPhone or iPad without sepnding money or compromising your personal information.
